| 表面の説明 | The national coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Republic is depicted in high relief at the centre of the coin, rendered as an applied medallion against a mirror-polished field. Surrounding the central device is a decorative frieze of stylized petroglyphic animal silhouettes — including birds, deer, and other fauna — inspired by traditional Central Asian rock art, rendered in satin finish against the proof field. A flying owl is depicted in the upper portion of the field among the animal motifs. The curved legend КЫРГЫЗСТАНДЫН КЫЗЫЛ КИТЕБИ arcs along the upper rim, and the date 2014 appears in the lower exergue. |

The Eurasian eagle owl series is part of a broader Kyrgyz wildlife program that began gaining international collector attention in the early 2010s, as the National Bank leaned into silver commemoratives to generate hard currency revenue — a common strategy for smaller post-Soviet republics with limited export bases. Mintages on these issues were tightly controlled and largely absorbed by European and Asian specialty dealers upon release.
KM#61 was produced at a third-party mint under contract, as Kyrgyzstan maintains no domestic minting facility of its own.
