Beschrijving voorzijde	At center, the national coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Republic rendered in high relief, depicting a stylized eagle viewed from above with outstretched wings encircling a rising sun over mountain peaks and a lake. The arms are surrounded by a beaded inner border. The curved legend ЭЛ АРАЛЫК ТОО ЖЫЛЫ (International Year of Mountains) arcs across the upper field in Cyrillic script, while КЫРГЫЗ РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ (Kyrgyz Republic) appears on a ribbon within the coat of arms. The date 2002 is inscribed in the lower field, flanked by decorative floral ornaments.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A naturalistic depiction of an edelweiss plant (Leontopodium) in full bloom occupies the lower foreground, its characteristic star-shaped white flower heads rendered in fine detail. Behind and rising dramatically into the upper field is a snow-capped peak of the Tian Shan mountain range (Теңир-Тоо), with a winding mountain road visible at lower right. The legend ТЕҢИР-ТОО arcs across the upper field, while АКМАҢДАЙ and LEONTOPODIUM appear vertically along the left side. The fineness and weight notation Ag 925/28.28 is inscribed at lower right, and the denomination 10 СОМ is displayed prominently in the lower central field.
