Obverse description	The obverse features a depiction of the coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Republic rendered in high relief within the silver centre field, showing the rising sun over mountain peaks flanked by spread wings and a Tunduk (yurt crown) motif, all encircled by a beaded border. The Cyrillic legend КЫРГЫЗ РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ arcs around the inner medallion. The outer gold ring bears the Cyrillic inscription КЫРГЫЗСТАН УЛУУ ЖИБЕК ЖОЛУНДА (Kyrgyzstan on the Great Silk Road) arranged along the upper periphery, with ornamental Kyrgyz folk-art scrollwork at the lower left and right. The date 2008 appears in the lower exergue of the centre field.

Reverse description	The reverse displays, in the gold-coloured inner field, a detailed relief of the Burana Tower — the ancient minaret located near Tokmok in the Chuy Valley — rising above a stylised landscape, rendered in gold-toned relief to highlight its historical prominence. Above the tower, a map of Kyrgyzstan with the Silk Road route traced across it occupies the upper portion of the field. The denomination 10 СОМ appears to the upper right, while the inscription БУРАНА (Burana) is engraved along the lower edge of the centre. The fineness and weight marks Ag 925 / 28.28 are inscribed at the lower left. The outer silver ring is decorated with a repeating traditional Kyrgyz ornamental border encircling the entire composition.
