背面描述 The central vignette presents an engraved scene of traditional totora reed boats (balsas) with sail and pole on the waters of Lake Titicaca, set against a panoramic background of distant mountains and sky. Several figures are visible aboard the vessels, with reed beds along the shoreline framing the composition on both sides. The caption "LAGO TITICACA" appears below the vignette, with the denomination legend "DIEZ SOLES DE ORO" printed in large letterpress along the lower margin.

备注

By 1975, Peru's military government under General Francisco Morales Bermúdez had inherited an economy badly strained by the reformist spending of the Velasco years. The sol was depreciating steadily, and the 10 Soles de Oro denomination — already modest — was losing purchasing power fast enough that this series would be superseded within a few years by higher-denomination issues printed domestically.

De La Rue's involvement with the BCR went back decades, and the London-printed relationship persisted well into the 1970s despite Peruvian nationalism running high in other sectors of the economy. The watermark security on this issue is relatively minimal for a De La Rue production of the period.
