| Description de l’avers | Uniface note printed entirely in black letterpress on hand-cut cream paper, with a serial number handwritten in ink at upper right preceded by 'No.' A large Gothic-script denomination header reads 'Sch: 10 uti Kopr.' followed by the full promise-to-pay text in decorative blackletter typeface, the place and manuscript date 'Stockholm den ... 1804' inserted by hand. Below, the denomination is restated in Swedish ('Tio Koppar Schillingar') and Finnish ('Kymmendä Kupari Skillingiä'), followed by a small-type anti-counterfeiting warning referring to the Royal Ordinance of 20 December 1754, and two manuscript signatures at foot. |

Riksens Ständers Banco — the Estates of the Realm's Bank — was Sweden's state bank operating under direct parliamentary oversight, a constitutional arrangement that made it one of the oldest continuously functioning central banks in the world at this point. The 10 Skilling denomination sat at the lower end of the Banco's paper money range, issued during a period of significant monetary strain driven by Sweden's involvement in the Napoleonic Wars and the resulting pressure on silver reserves.
Uniface printing on Swedish banco notes of this period was deliberate policy, not economy — the reverse was left blank to facilitate endorsement and transfer notations in circulation. Surviving examples frequently show manuscript entries on the verso.
