The central field bears the large kanji denomination 拾圓 (Ten Yen) beneath the issuer's name in kanji, with the imperial chrysanthemum mon at upper centre. Serial numbers appear in the upper margin in kanji numerals, and an official red seal is affixed at lower left alongside the governor's and deputy governor's seals. |
