Obverse description The obverse is printed predominantly in red with a multicolour underprint, centred by a right-facing portrait vignette of Queen Elizabeth II in the upper portion of the note. Gates Fort, Saint George, Bermuda, occupies the lower central vignette. Black serial numbers are applied by letterpress.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in red over a yellow underprint, with the British Royal Coat of Arms as the central vignette. The design is otherwise spare, relying on the heraldic imagery and surrounding legends for its composition.
