Popis líce	The obverse is dominated by a central vignette of the Southern Rhodesia Coat of Arms, with an intaglio portrait of Queen Elizabeth II positioned to the right. The denomination is indicated at centre, enclosed within a fine guilloche border, with the board title and legal tender inscription arranged around the perimeter of the design.

Popis rubu	The reverse carries a central intaglio vignette of Victoria Falls rendered in warm brown tones, the falls framed by trees and a rocky gorge on either side. To the left, a circular medallion bears the Zimbabwe Bird emblem above a sable antelope shield. Denomination numerals appear at the upper left, upper right, and lower right corners, with the value expressed in words within a panel at the bottom centre.
