Obverse description At left centre, an oval intaglio vignette presents Lady Hazel Lavery draped in a shawl, set against a red and green guilloche underprint. The denomination 10/- appears in each corner, with a serif prefix letter within a circle at upper left and lower right. Two manuscript signatures occupy the centre field — those of the Governor and the Secretary of the Department of Finance — with the date of issue printed at lower centre.
