| 备注 |
The Currency Commission Ireland was dissolved in 1943 and replaced by the Central Bank of Ireland, making this series — issued in its final active years — among the last notes produced under the Commission's authority. The P#1B designation reflects a signature variant rather than a redesign; the pairing of Joseph Brennan as Commission Chairman with J. J. McElligott as Secretary to the Department of Finance is the distinguishing factor from earlier issues in the series.
Waterlow & Sons held the contract throughout the Commission's existence. Forgery was not a documented problem with this series, though the single watermark security was already considered minimal by late-1930s standards.
