| 备注 |
Guernsey's interwar 10 Shillings notes occupy an unusual position in Channel Islands monetary history: the island retained its own currency authority throughout the 1930s while remaining constitutionally outside the United Kingdom's financial system. Perkins, Bacon & Petch — better known for security printing of postage stamps and colonial banknotes — handled production from their London works, a logical choice given the firm's long relationship with small-denomination high-security documents.
German forces occupied Guernsey in June 1940, and notes from this series remained in circulation under occupation, eventually supplemented by the distinctive German-sanctioned Guernsey issues. Surviving pre-occupation examples in circulated grades often show the wear of that prolonged wartime use.
