Reverse description Central field features a stylized chrysanthemum flower (imperial seal) at top, flanked on either side by drooping rice plant (Oryza sativa) sprigs whose grain-laden stems curve downward to frame the denomination. The denomination '十錢' (10 Sen) is rendered in large Kanji numerals in the central field. The overall composition is symmetrical and characteristic of late Shōwa-era Japanese pattern coinage.
