| 备注 |
ORI — Oeang Republik Indonesia — was the first currency issued by the newly proclaimed republic, rushed into production before Indonesia had any central bank or formal printing infrastructure. The inaugural series launched on 30 October 1946, though notes carry the 1945 date in deliberate alignment with the Proclamation of Independence. P#15A is among the smallest denominations of that first emission, printed under extremely constrained wartime conditions with Japanese occupation forces only recently departed and Dutch forces returning.
The "small print area" designation distinguishes it from a closely related variant — a meaningful difference to collectors since the two can be easily conflated in the field.
