| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Victor Amadeus II facing right, with long flowing curled hair resting on the shoulder, draped in armour with an ornate bow-tied cravat visible at the chest. The effigy is rendered in a Baroque portrait style characteristic of late 17th-century Savoyard coinage. The circumferential legend reads VICTOR AM II D G DVX SAB in Latin capital letters, separated by pellets, running around the coin within a beaded border. |

| Reverse description | The elaborately quartered coat of arms of the House of Savoy, surmounted by a royal crown, occupies the centre of the field. The shield is supported on either side by two rampant lions facing inward, rendered with fine Baroque detail. The date, here 1680, is placed in the exergue below the shield. The circumferential legend PRIN PEDE REX CYPRI, meaning Prince of Piedmont, King of Cyprus, runs in Latin capitals around the coin within a beaded border. |
