Obverse description The central intaglio vignette presents a rider of the Spanish Riding School astride a white Lipizzaner stallion in a classical dressage pose, set before the baroque facade of the Hofburg palace in Vienna. An elaborate scrollwork and foliate border frames the composition, with the denomination numeral "10" at upper right and the issuing authority inscription below. Three signature lines for the Präsident, Generalrat, and Generaldirektor appear at the lower margin, accompanied by the date and engraver's credit in letterpress.
