正面描述	Printed in rose-red on a pale underprint, the obverse carries a left-centre portrait of President Sukarno in military uniform and peci cap, set against floral and foliate vignettes flanking the design. The Garuda Pancasila coat of arms appears as a central watermark-like underprint, above the two-line overprint "IRIAN BARAT" applied in green letterpress. The Bank Indonesia title and date "1960" are inscribed at the top, with the denomination "SEPULUH RUPIAH" across the lower margin and the numeral "10" at upper left; the printer's imprint "PERTJETAKAN KEBAJORAN" appears at the foot.

背面描述	The reverse, also in rose-red on a pale guilloche underprint, presents a vignette of two Javanese women in traditional dress and floral headdresses occupying the right half of the design, with decorative scrollwork and floral borders framing the left panel. The denomination "SEPULUH RUPIAH" is lettered across the top and the numeral "10" appears at lower left within an ornate cartouche. A legal warning inscription runs along the lower margin in small letterpress text.
