| Obverse description | Printed in rose-red on a pale underprint, the obverse carries a left-centre portrait of President Sukarno in military uniform and peci cap, set against floral and foliate vignettes flanking the design. The Garuda Pancasila coat of arms appears as a central watermark-like underprint, above the two-line overprint "IRIAN BARAT" applied in green letterpress. The Bank Indonesia title and date "1960" are inscribed at the top, with the denomination "SEPULUH RUPIAH" across the lower margin and the numeral "10" at upper left; the printer's imprint "PERTJETAKAN KEBAJORAN" appears at the foot. |
