| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in brown and yellow tones on a light ground. At left, a portrait vignette of President Sukarno in traditional peci cap faces right, set against a background of stylised banana or tropical foliage. The central field carries the large intaglio denomination inscription '10 / SEPULUH RUPIAH / BARU' beneath the legend 'TANDA PEMBAJARAN JANG SAH', with 'REPUBLIK INDONESIA' in a panel at upper right. Red penalty text and a serial number appear along the lower margin. |
