Kas Negara emergency issues from 1947 are among the more regionally distinct pieces from the Indonesian National Revolution. Djambi — the provincial treasury of South Sumatra — produced its own paper during this period because the new Republic's central supply chain was effectively severed by Dutch blockades and military action. These were locally printed out of necessity, not policy preference.

P#263B is notably scarce. Provincial printings of this kind were produced in small runs, often on whatever paper stock was available, and saw heavy use in local trade before being pulled as more uniform Republican issues penetrated the interior.
