Obverse description The Ashoka Lion Capital, India's national emblem, is depicted centrally in high relief, showing three lions passant upon an abacus adorned with the Dharma Chakra flanked by a bull and a horse. The denomination '10 RUPEES' appears prominently in the lower field. Bilingual legends arc along the left and right periphery, with 'भारत' in Devanagari script to the left and 'INDIA' in Latin script to the right, while '१०' and 'रूपये' appear in Devanagari along the lower left arc.
