附加信息	Veer Durgadas Rathore, commemorated here, was the Marwar chieftain who spent over two decades sheltering the infant Marwar prince Ajit Singh from Aurangzeb's court — a prolonged act of defiance that ultimately contributed to Rathor resistance against Mughal authority in Rajputana. He was exiled in 1720 despite his loyalty to the restored throne, and died in obscurity shortly after. India's commemorative rupee series of this period often honored regional heroes overlooked by earlier colonial-era historiography, Durgadas among the more deserving inclusions.
