Reverse description Central device portrays a seated figure of the Marathi saint-poet Sant Tukaram (1608–1650), depicted in three-quarter view playing a veena (string instrument), rendered in fine relief with traditional attire including a turban and prayer beads. The figure is set upon a small decorated platform or pedestal. A bilingual circular legend surrounds the design, reading 'संत तुकाराम' in Devanagari on the left arc and 'SANT TUKARAM' in Latin on the right arc, with the inscriptions 'भक्ति भातृत्व जागृति' interspersed along the upper legend. The date '2002' appears in the lower exergue, flanked by decorative dots.
