Bradbury Wilkinson, whose New Malden works produced security printing for dozens of Commonwealth and post-colonial states throughout the mid-twentieth century, handled the job from London. Pick 18 falls within a short-lived royal portrait series that was retired relatively quickly as Nepal updated its note designs through the 1970s.
