Opis awersu	Dark blue-green intaglio print on cream paper, with an ornate guilloche border enclosing the central design. To the right, an oval vignette bears a right-facing portrait of King George V in full imperial regalia and crown, rendered in fine line engraving. The centre carries a landscape underprint of tropical foliage and a distant hill, above which the promise-to-pay legend and denomination 'TEN RUPEES' are set in bold letterpress; the lower left panel bears the signature of the Controller of Currency for the Government of India.

Opis rewersu	Printed in blue-green on cream paper, the reverse is dominated by a central vignette of two caparisoned elephants, each bearing a mahout, flanking the large numeral '10' set within an elaborate quatrefoil guilloche. The denomination 'RUPEES' appears as a pale underprint behind the central motif, with 'TEN RUPEES' in Roman script along the lower margin. To the left, the value is rendered in multiple Indian scripts including Devanagari, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Gujarati, and Urdu; the whole is enclosed within an intricate scrollwork and lace-pattern border.
