Obverse description Plain unadorned note of emergency issue type, with the issuer's name in ornate script at the top and the promissory text in letterpress below. The denomination TEN RUPEES is printed in large bold capitals at centre, with the value Rs 10 enclosed in a typeset frame to the right. A decorative ruled border runs along the left edge, serial number appears at upper left and upper right, and an embossed dry seal is impressed at lower right; two manuscript signatures appear at the foot with their respective titles.
