Reverse description The large bold numeral 10 dominates the centre of the reverse field. Below, the denomination TEN RUPEES is inscribed in three scripts: Sinhala, Tamil, and English. The mint year 2017 appears beneath the denomination, flanked on either side by stylised ears of paddy. The country name SRI LANKA arcs across the upper periphery in Sinhala script at the apex, with Tamil to the left and English to the right. A repeating geometric ornamental pattern encircles the entire design along the periphery, consistent with the standard Sri Lankan circulation coinage style.
