| Obverse description | The obverse is printed predominantly in green, with the denomination numeral '10' repeated in each corner within guilloche border panels. A vignette at right centre presents the seated stone statue of King Parakramabahu I, rendered in intaglio. The upper portion carries trilingual bank title inscriptions in Sinhala, Tamil, and English, while the central field displays the denomination in large Sinhala script over fine underprint work. Two manuscript signatures and a printed date appear in the centre-left area, with serial number appearing twice in the left and upper-right fields. |
