| 背面描述 | This aluminium pattern coin, derived from the standard KM#69 circulation type commemorating Benazir Bhutto, is distinguished by its double thickness relative to the regular issue, a plain edge, and an increased weight of 3.64 grams. The reverse design follows the standard commemorative format associated with the Benazir Bhutto memorial issue. These aluminium pattern pieces were first publicly noted in November 2009 and represent a trial or test striking not intended for general circulation. |

Pakistan's 10 Rupee denomination had been struck in bimetallic form since 2006, so this aluminium pattern from 2008 represents a material test almost certainly conducted in the months following Benazir Bhutto's assassination on 27 December 2007. The State Bank moved quickly to issue a commemorative coin, and alternative compositions were trialed before the final bimetallic version was adopted. Aluminium was almost certainly rejected on durability and vending-machine compatibility grounds.
Pattern coins of this type rarely leave the mint through official channels. Most known examples surfaced through informal routes.
