Description de l’avers Red under print of irregular ovals below top two serial numbers and `Ten` in words in the centre of the note. Government of India in the centre top, 4 serial numbers on all four corners. Date of issue below both language panels and the issuing circle initials next to the language panels on both sides (B- Bombay, C-Calcutta, M- Madras, L-Lahore, K-Kurachee, A- Cawnpore and R-Rangoon).
