备注

The Government of India's 10 Rupee series covering this period spans a remarkably long print run — over a decade during which India moved through the First World War, the Rowlatt agitation, the Non-Cooperation Movement, and the early stirrings of full independence campaigns. Currency demand was volatile throughout, and the note was kept in production largely because withdrawing it would have complicated an already strained monetary situation in the subcontinent.

Pick 6 distinguishes itself from the first type principally through signature differences, as successive Finance Secretaries cycled through the signatory field. Collectors tracking this series by signature variety find the range substantial — some signatories held the position only briefly, making their examples genuinely harder to locate than the note's long print window would suggest.
