| 备注 |
Pick 58 belongs to the "Lion Capital" series introduced by the Reserve Bank of India in the mid-1960s, a deliberate shift away from the colonial-era George VI portrait notes that had lingered well into independence. The transition was slow — India continued issuing portrait notes into the early 1950s — and the new republican designs went through several signature varieties as successive Governors cycled through.
Notes of this type are frequently encountered with heavy fold wear; the 10-rupee denomination was a workhorse denomination in daily transactions during this period, and survival in better grades is less common than the print volumes might suggest.
