Opmerkingen

Ceylon's central bank had operated with the same basic 10 Rupee format for years before this issue, and Bradbury Wilkinson — longtime security printers to the British colonial and post-colonial world — had been engraving Ceylon's notes since the series began in the late 1950s. The Tennekoon signature dates this to a specific period of governorship that ran through the mid-1960s, placing this note squarely within the Sirimavo Bandaranaike government's second administration.

Pick 64 is distinguished from the closely related P#63 primarily by that signature swap — a detail that trips up collectors who don't track the governor succession carefully.
