Beschrijving voorzijde	Two circular vignettes flank a central guilloche rosette: at left, a palm tree on a sandy shore with a small dhow under sail in the background; at right, a traditional Maldivian dhow under full sail. Thaana script inscriptions appear above the central medallion and at lower left, with the denomination numerals at each side. A serial number and date appear along the lower margin.
Opschrift voorzijde	އެކެ ރުފިޔާ
Beschrijving keerzijde	A two-storey colonial-style government building occupies the central vignette, rendered in grey-green intaglio against a multi-coloured guilloche underprint. Thaana script inscription runs above the central image and a further legend appears below it. Ornate corner rosettes and a continuous lace-pattern border frame the design.
