Beschrijving voorzijde At center, the State Emblem of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is depicted in the field. Encircling the emblem, a legend reads 'PRIDNESTROVIAN REPUBLICAN BANK' at the top and '10 RUBLES' at the bottom, all rendered in Cyrillic script. Below the emblem, the year of issue '2025' appears, flanked by the mint mark on the left and the metal designation and alloy fineness on the right. The pure silver content '15.55 g Ag 925' is inscribed beneath the emblem.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse is divided into two vertical registers. At upper left, a four-line Cyrillic inscription reads '80 YEARS OF THE GREAT VICTORY'; below it, an engraved image of an Eternal Flame is depicted. At upper right, a flock of flying cranes is rendered in relief, symbolizing fallen soldiers; below, a color-printed image of the St. George ribbon appears in its traditional orange and black stripes. The overall composition commemorates the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Aanvullende informatie

Transnistria — formally the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic — is an unrecognized breakaway state that declared independence from Moldova in 1990, backed militarily by Russia after a brief armed conflict in 1992. Its central bank issues coins that circulate domestically but carry no legal tender status outside its borders, making them functionally collector pieces from the moment of issue. The 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory in World War II is among the most politically significant commemorative occasions in the Russian-speaking post-Soviet world, and Transnistria's alignment with that narrative is deliberate.

Production almost certainly relies on contracted minting facilities, as Transnistria operates no mint of its own.
