| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus — a stylised outline of the country framed by a decorative wreath with a rising sun at the apex — rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished background. A naturalistically depicted hoopoe (Upupa epops) is shown in profile at the centre of the emblem device, its distinctive crest visible. The circular legend РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ arcs along the upper periphery, while the fineness designation Ag 925, the date 2013, and the denomination 10 РУБЛЁЎ appear in the lower field. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Part of Belarus's long-running wildlife series, this issue belongs to a program that has produced dozens of silver commemoratives since the early 2000s targeting the thematic collector market rather than circulation. The hoopoe (Upupa epops) breeds across Belarus during summer months and is protected under national environmental legislation, which provided the nominal justification for the issue.
The National Bank of Belarus used these wildlife commemoratives aggressively through this period as a foreign-currency revenue stream, with most pieces absorbed immediately by European and Asian thematic collectors.
