| 背面描述 | The reverse displays a high-relief depiction of a fragment of the monument to the Heroes of the Front and the Rear, rendered in bold sculptural style occupying the central field. The upper circumference bears the toponym 'САРАТОВ' (SARATOV), while the lower circumference, following the curve of a decorative ribbon device, carries the inscription 'ГОРОДА ТРУДОВОЙ ДОБЛЕСТИ' (CITIES OF LABOUR VALOUR). The overall composition commemorates Saratov's designation as a City of Labour Valour. |

Part of the ongoing Russian Geographical Series, this Saratov issue is one of dozens of regional 10-rouble bimetallic and steel pieces the Bank of Russia has churned out since 2010. Saratov's inclusion follows a long queue — the series has become so prolific that individual releases attract minimal collector attention domestically. The city itself sits on the Volga and served as a critical Soviet-era industrial and military production hub, though none of that weight translates into numismatic scarcity here.
Brass-plated steel replaced the earlier bimetallic construction across the 10-rouble program beginning around 2017, a cost-cutting response to prolonged economic pressure on the Russian mint budget.
