Obverse description The obverse features the double-headed eagle after the design of Ivan Bilibin, rendered in the field at center. Below the eagle, metallic inscriptions in Latin characters denote the metal (Au), fineness (999), the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД), and the fine gold content (1.555 g).
