The zero of the numeral incorporates a latent-image security element alternately displaying the numeral 10 and the abbreviation РУБ when the coin is tilted. The Moscow Mint monogram ММД appears at the lower centre, between the decorative sprigs. |

The legend НОВОСИБИРСК arches along the upper portion of the outer ring, while the inscription ГОРОДА ТРУДОВОЙ ДОБЛЕСТИ runs along the lower portion of the ring, following the contour of a decorative ribbon. The overall design honours Novosibirsk's designation as a City of Labour Valour. |
