| Obverse description | The obverse features the large numeral '10' in the centre of the field, its digits filled with fine horizontal line engraving to create a distinctive security-style relief effect. Immediately below the denomination appears the Cyrillic legend 'РУБЛЕЙ' (Roubles). A decorative wreath composed of oak and laurel branches frames the denomination on the left and right, converging at the base. The Cyrillic legend 'БАНК РОССИИ' (Bank of Russia) arcs along the upper periphery, while the mint date '2023' and the Moscow Mint monogram 'ММД' are inscribed at the lower rim. |

Part of the Bank of Russia's ongoing "Cities of Labour Glory" series, Nizhny Tagil earned that designation in 2020 — one of the first cities to receive it under legislation signed by Putin recognizing industrial contributions to the Soviet war effort during the Second World War. The city's Ural Vagonzavod plant, the largest tank factory in the world during the conflict, produced more T-34s than any other single facility.
