| Obverse description | The brass outer ring frames a copper-nickel centre bearing the face value 10 РУБЛЕЙ in large numerals, within which the zero incorporates a latent image security feature alternately revealing the numeral 10 and the abbreviation РУБ when the viewing angle is changed. The mint mark of the Moscow Mint (ММД) appears in the lower portion of the central disc. The legend БАНК РОССИИ arcs along the upper portion of the ring, with the year of issue 2002 at the lower rim, flanked on either side by stylised plant sprigs that extend onto the disc. |
