| 背面描述 | The reverse displays a detailed relief depicting a fragment of the decorative artistic composition of the 'City of Labor Valor' stele, rendered in high relief against a textured field. The upper legend reads 'КОМСОМОЛЬСК-НА-АМУРЕ' (KOMSOMOLSK-ON-AMUR) and the lower legend reads 'ГОРОДА ТРУДОВОЙ ДОБЛЕСТИ' (CITIES OF LABOR VALOR), the latter inscribed on a ribbon device along the lower arc. |

Komsomolsk-on-Amur was founded in 1932 as a Soviet showcase project, built largely by Komsomol volunteers — young Communist League members dispatched to the remote Khabarovsk taiga to construct an industrial city from raw wilderness. The city became a major defense manufacturing hub during World War II, producing aircraft when western Soviet factories were overrun or evacuated.
This issue belongs to Russia's long-running Cities of Military Glory series, authorized by presidential decree. Komsomolsk received that designation in 2015.
