Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a detailed architectural rendering of the historic Volozhyn Yeshiva building at center, depicted in a realistic relief style. A circumferential legend frames the design, with ІУДАІЗМ (Judaism) inscribed along the upper arc and ВАЛОЖЫНСКАЯ ІЕШЫВА (Valozhyn Yeshiva) along the lower arc. The overall composition commemorates the significance of the Volozhyn Yeshiva as a seminal institution of Jewish learning in the region.

Aanvullende informatie

Part of Belarus's ongoing "Religions and Spiritual Traditions" series, this issue acknowledges the historically significant Jewish communities of the Pale of Settlement, much of which fell within modern Belarusian territory. By the late nineteenth century, Jews constituted a majority population in dozens of Belarusian towns — Pinsk, Grodno, Minsk itself — before the Holocaust reduced that presence to near nothing.

Mintage across the series was tightly limited, typically under five thousand pieces per issue.
