The Crimean Regional Government was a short-lived administration under General Sulkevich, backed by German occupation forces and lasting only from June to November 1918. Its authority evaporated almost immediately after the German withdrawal from southern Ukraine, and the government was replaced by a second Crimean administration under Salomon Krym before the year was out. Notes issued under P#S371 circulated in an extremely compressed window.
The Sulkevich regime's currency had no backing of any substance, and its acceptance was largely enforced by the presence of German troops rather than public confidence. Once that pressure lifted, these notes were rapidly displaced.
