Aanvullende informatie

Mikhas Lynkov (1899–1975) was a Belarusian Soviet writer whose prose dealt heavily with partisan resistance during the Second World War — a subject with obvious political utility in Soviet cultural life, which kept him prominent well past the Stalin era. This commemorative was issued the year Belarus marked his centenary, part of a broader series of collector silver the National Bank began producing in the mid-1990s as the country sought hard currency revenue following independence.
