| 备注 |
This note belongs to the third series issued under SAMA, a period when Saudi Arabia was navigating an extraordinary expansion of oil revenues following the 1973 embargo and the subsequent price restructuring. The monetary authority was printing currency at a pace the Kingdom had never previously required, and De La Rue — long the dominant printer for Gulf state issues — handled the bulk of that output through the late 1970s.
P#18 is among the more commonly encountered notes of the series in circulated grades, largely because the denomination sat squarely in everyday commercial use during a period of intense domestic spending. High-grade uncirculated examples are less trivial to source than their frequency in circulation suggests.
