Historical Context: Issued by Malaysia in 2024, this 10 Ringgit silver coin commemorates the Diamond Jubilee (60th anniversary) of the National Registration Department (Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara, JPN). Under the reign of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, this issuance highlights the enduring significance of civil registration and national identity within the federation. The JPN's pivotal role in documenting citizens' vital statistics makes its six-decade milestone a crucial event for national remembrance.

Artistry: While the specific engraver is not publicly credited, the coin's design adheres to a modern commemorative stylistic school, typical of Bank Negara Malaysia issues. The obverse likely features the Malaysian coat of arms, symbolizing national sovereignty, alongside the denomination. The reverse design undoubtedly centers on the Diamond Jubilee theme, incorporating the National Registration Department's emblem or a symbolic representation of its 60 years of service, reflecting its foundational administrative role.

Technical/Grading: Struck in .925 fine silver with a weight of 32.7 grams, this coin exhibits high technical strike qualities. Collectors should anticipate full, sharp details on the Malaysian coat of arms, particularly the intricate elements of the crest and supporters. On the reverse, high points would encompass the fine lines and textures of the NRD emblem or any commemorative inscription. A brilliant uncirculated or proof finish is expected, showcasing excellent field reflectivity and frosted devices, indicative of modern minting standards.
