Description de l’avers	The obverse is laid out in a horizontal format with the bank title GÖTHEBORGS ENSKILDA BANK in large Gothic lettering across the centre. A central vignette displays the arms of Gothenburg — a crowned lion on a heraldic shield — framed by a circular legend reading BILLET DE LA BANQUE DE GOTHENBOURG. The denomination TIO (10) appears in large numerals in the lower portion flanked by corner numeral counters, with the place and date GÖTHEBORG 1868 inscribed below the central text and three manuscript signatures at the foot.
