Military scrip issued by the NCO and Enlisted Men's Open Mess attached to US Army Strategic Communications Command facilities in Tehran — part of the broader American military advisory and communications presence in Iran under the Pahlavi government. These mess tokens circulated exclusively within the facility, redeemable for food, drink, and sundries at the club, keeping hard currency out of on-base retail transactions entirely.
