Reverse description Central device depicting the Imperial Iranian state emblem: a passant lion in profile facing right, holding an upright sword in its right forepaw, set before a radiant rising sun whose rays fan outward across the field. The Imperial Pahlavi crown is placed above the entire group at the top of the inner circle. The ensemble is enclosed within a decorative wreath of oak and laurel branches tied at the base, with the Persian denomination legend 'ده ریال' (Ten Rials) inscribed in the exergue below the lion. A beaded border runs along the coin's rim.
