| Obverse description | At center, the Roman numeral X denoting the face value of ten réis occupies the field without a date, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. Surmounting the circle is a royal crown with four arches, rendered in low relief. The peripheral legend runs along the outer rim, separated from the inner design by the beaded border.
